The Pet Associate loves to talk to pet parents about their pets, is friendly, outgoing, courteous, and helpful.
Pet Associates are trained in the following areas:
Customer Engagement; Cashier; Inventory Knowledge; and Live Animals.
Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement - As a Pet Associate, you are happy to welcome pets and pet parents to our store.
You assist them in understanding their needs, and help them if needed to fulfill those needs.
Cashier - You welcome the pet and the pet parent to our store.
You facilitate an easy check-out process and ensure they found everything they needed.
Inventory Knowledge - Pet Associates become familiar and knowledgeable with our store inventory, and use that knowledge to help pet parents find what they are looking for.
When not engaging with customers, they help to stock and face shelves.
Live Animal Care - (includes fish, reptiles, birds, and small animals).
In addition to care for the animals, Pet Associates engage with customers regarding our live animals and the customer needs.
Provide excellent neighborly service.
Create a fun and positive environment.
