Annual compensation of $55,000 - $65,000 depending on qualifications Eligible for bonuses A full benefits package through United Healthcare after 60 days:

We are looking for someone to fill this vital role who possesses current permitting knowledge, is very organized, and detail oriented.
A skilled communicator who can build and maintain relationships with staff at local building and permitting offices, and with our project managers and other team members.
We need someone who will keep records up to date, permits moving forward, and keeps our team in the loop regarding their projects.
Basically, we need a people person who can see the big picture and nails the little details.
Our Permitting Professionals:
Assist with coordination of documents required for applying, submitting, obtaining, and closing permits for all company projects Coordinate with departments and external contacts to ensure all deadlines are completed on time Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with local government departments and staff members Assist with answering permitting questions and/or other issues Monitor and follow up on pending permits and engineering reports Thoroughly communicate and document permit statuses in order to keep the installation of projects consistent Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and maintain the company's reputation Be proactive to ensure projects move smoothly and are completed as scheduled Travel to various locations to obtain signatures, collect, drop off, and post permits as needed Address incoming inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner I acknowledge and understand the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities.

Permitting Professional
Qualifications:
3-5 years of professional experience as a Permit Specialist or closely related role Bachelor's Degree preferred Up to date knowledge of current codes Proficiency with CAD Knowledge of residential/commercial remodeling and construction preferred Great communication skills:
reading, writing, and speaking in English (Bilingual with Spanish is a plus) Must be able to build relationships and work cordially with a variety of people, especially at building and permitting offices Capability to assess and resolve issues, conflicts, and problems that will impact project timelines and outcomes Authorized to work in the US Professional appearance, demeanor, and conduct - you are our ambassador with local governments!
